Happy New Year!
I have celebrated summer time in another country, brought in my birthday in another country, and have now celebrated the new year in another country. Going somewhere you have never been before NEVER gets old. It lets you truly appreciate being away from the madness of your life, but you get to appreciate a different part of your life you don't get to celebrate too much...the beauty in the everyday.
While many people will continue to have their usual resolutions that they probably have already failed at by the time I post this, I think it's more than that. You don't really need to wait til the new year in order for you to start a project/plan/inspiration, Trust me, I am always at fault for the "I'm going to start on Monday".
This year I want to do the same thing that I said I would do last year, scare myself a bit more. I mean truly scare myself. From the little things to the big things. What's that saying "You have nothing to fear but fear itself". So don't make the crazy plans that you know you truly won't do. Just do what scares you shitless. Some of my commitments have been things like cutting my budget to almost nothing so I can pay off more credit cards. While it's sucky when it's time to party but when I look at my credit score, I can always smile. Or doing what I just did, traveling across the world to experience new years in Bali. Riding an elephant, which is hella scary when you first get on, or feeding monkeys, who fyi can definitely have a bit of an attitude. [Check my instagram if you don't know what I am talking about].
But I have to say...scaring yourself might honestly be one of the best things I have ever done. Why don't you try.
Here's to another beginning!!
