No this is not about to be a regular occurrence as of now, however, it was needed. I thank god for putting some amazing people in my life, and when I get the chance to go on about people, I tend to rant. So what better place than my own blog? No
I had the pleasure of meeting Yelda almost a year ago through a good friend of mine named Heather. My friend Heather went from a cool girl I met doing buys for my site, to a girlfriend that I miss on a regular day. So I know when heather introduces me to someone, it's going to be someone with the same amazing energy.
I got to met this petite woman with the biggest smile, massive ball of energy, good aura and great welcoming hugs while at my first Camel Assembly meeting. It was my first time coming to this meeting that Heather had invited me to, so I did some research on who the women from Camel Assembly were, and this is what I got.
This place of amazing woman, who can open up, express their thoughts, worries, inspiration, and ideas, is a place for every creative. You learn about each other's business and help build in whatever possible form you can. Whether it's giving advice on their social media platforms, suggestions on who they should talk to about business deals, bringing them into your network and just helping each other succeed while still building within ourselves. This group of women, have become a group that I look forward to seeing every month, and every extension to this group have become women who have not only become women I can't wait to see, but can't wait to see them grow.
For the June Assembly Meeting, Yelda had the ladies put together care packages for the homeless women of New York. Filled with pads, soap, body lotion and other hygiene products. No dead is too small, these ladies packed 30 care packages and went to the streets that following wednesday. Elite Daily followed this lovely group of women give back to the community.
It was such an honor to be able to help feed the homeless, and realize how lucky one can truly be. It's so easy to get caught up with the craziness that is life, but to take a step back and see that we are all humans just trying to connect, love, live, strive, and truly be happy. For this I thank a woman like Yelda who never forgets the bigger picture and helps you see it.
