When you are starting a blog, the only thing you are thinking about is how fun it will be. Expressing what is really going on in your mind, and your life, but you tend to forget how much you are about to expose yourself. BE PREPARED TO BE VULNERABLE! As many of you know, it has been a strong month since my last post. Which my last post oddly enough, it was my dear Fabby Segment. Which was something I am still happy to have done. But I was utterly surprised by my first submission. If you haven't seen the post along with the comments, please do so first.
Becoming a lifestyle blogger doesn't just mean you are talking about fashion trends and the latest in social meadia, but life journeys and the history that you had before the blog audience. I definitely have to say that first segment of Dear Fabby informed me of that. I knew I would have a core group of girlfriends and supporters watching what I had been posting, but I didn't really think of the past following as well. Much to my surprise there are 2 ex's that have been following up and decided to say their "sorry's". While some women wait forever to hear a man truly apologize for their lies, infidelities, lost trust and everything else that happens in between.
Here's what I have learned
- "A real woman moves on, while karma does her dirty work"
- If I let you get the best of me, how the heck do I move on and find peace?
- If I did everything possible to make a relationship work, than I can not blame myself, because it just wasn't in the cards for us.
- Time heals all wounds and I have since been thoroughly healed.
So here is a note to the two. I appreciate the apology, I think it's something better for you than me, I have since moved on and have wished nothing but the best for you. Hope you have learned from the mistakes and don't repeat them again.
As for me...I am ready to walk in my own truth, and of course...fuck shit up :-)
