As I march to the beat of my own drum, I tend to do the same when it comes to my spending habits. For as long as I can remember, I have always had jobs that would give me a uniform or a clothing allowance. While some people think it can be one of the best things, it too can be a bit discouraging. Let me break it down for you.
Once I became an adult, I realized that I didn't have much a wardrobe because 90% of the jobs that I've had, gave me clothes to wear. So on my day off, all I really want to do is be naked. Am I the only one? If I don't have to wear clothes, why the hell do I put on anything at all. With sometime I remembered that I shouldn't go out looking like a complete frump ball since I am supposed to be the "fashionable friend". After some time at all the places we all love to shop, Top Shop, Zara, Asos and so forth. The one thing I didn't like, was being lost in the same pieces that everyone else would buy.
What did i do to stand out you ask? I would always have a tendency to buy the over the stop accessories that give myself the wow factor. I don't want to look like a drone, so I make a point to always have a piece that would separate me from everyone else. So this time around, it was these amaze balls Stella McCartney Elyse Faux Leather Platform Shoes. I've had my eye on them for some months, and have fellin in love with them.
This outfit could have been as simple as could be, however these little bad boys definitely made the statement I needed. Items like this are always where I spend more of my money because they are a statement to who I am. So I forever chose to stand out, and today I stand out in some Stellas!
